A300-T300 SH Caliper Brake

The A300 is an arm style caliper brake designed to accept a large selection of Hilliard thrusters. These thrusters include spring applied hydraulic released, spring applied pneumatic released, hydraulic applied spring released, and pneumatic applied spring released. The A300 requires a minimum disc diameter of 12" and is offered in 4 sizes to accommodate a ½", 1", 1-3/16", and 1-1/2" thick disc. The design of the caliper allows the user to quickly convert between right and left-handed designs eliminating the need for multiple part numbers. The SH thruster is a failsafe thruster that is spring applied hydraulically released. The spring applied thrusters are offered in multiple sizes to meet the needs of our customers. The T300 SH thruster produces a maximum braking force of 3180 pounds at the maximum operating pressure of 1450 psi with a maximum pressure of 1700 psi when used with the A300 Caliper.

A400-T300 SA Caliper Brake

The 400 requires a minimum disc diameter of 24" and is offered in 2 sizes to accommodate a 1" and 1-1/2" thick disc. The design of the caliper allows the user to quickly convert between right and left-handed designs eliminating the need for multiple part numbers. The SA thruster is a failsafe thruster that is spring applied pneumatically released. The spring applied thrusters are offered in multiple sizes to meet the needs of our customers. The T300 SA thruster produces a maximum braking force of 5580 pounds at the maximum operating pressure of 88 psi with a maximum pressure of 110 psi when used with the A400 caliper.

The AS thruster is a direct applied thruster that is pneumatically applied spring released. The Pneumatic applied thrusters are offered in multiple sizes to meet the needs of our customers. The T400 AS thruster produces a maximum braking force of 8400 pounds at the maximum operating pressure of 67 psi. (This thruster is only to be used on the A400 caliper)

BBH1

The Hilliard BBH1 Power Unit is a base model that includes on/off and ramped braking modes. With integral manifold mounting and heavy duty pump with fail-safe design, many options are available to customize the system to the specific needs of the application.

The Hilliard BBH2 Power Unit incorporates an engineered hydraulic circuit to control the brake torque during a typical stop. Large capacity hydraulic accumulators provide additional volume for precise control of brake pressure. Equipped with manual overrides and hand pump for power outages, high pressure filtration and control braking mode to meet sophisticated braking system applications.

BBH3

The H3 Power Unit is Hilliard's most advanced brake control system. With a PID Loop Control, the BBH3 Power Unit is capable of monitoring speed. The Hilliard BBH2 Power Unit incorporates an engineered hydraulic circuit to control the brake torque during a typical stop. Large capacity hydraulic accumulators provide additional volume for precise control of brake pressure. Equipped with manual overrides and hand pump for power outages, high pressure filtration and control braking mode, the BBH3 power unit can be customized to accept other signals that are relevant to the application.

BBH4

Hilliard BBH4 power unit is suitable for brakes demanding pressures above 3,000 PSI. It includes on/off and ramped braking modes. The power units are highly customizable, allowing customers to specify component types for several items in the system, including the motor, electrical panel, RTD, and pressure transmitter. The unit includes an isolated hand pump specifically useful in power outages.
